Tues I just applied for jobs and then went to bed at my house for the first night in Redel’s place. The AC was broken on an over 100 degree day (not including the heat index) and in order to sleep - I had to sleep in wet sheets w/ cold water. It was awful.

The next day we Redel and I got drunk at our place with mike and gabe and we played power half hour, then a slap the shoulder or raise a fist “pow” drinking game, then played 3 rounds of beer die and then we drove to the pool at night and swam for a bit and did handstand contests and climbed up the diving board from the water. Then I went to sleep.

Thursday, June 4th…mark you calendar!  That’s the date, just a few days away, when President Barack Obama will make a landmark speech to the world from Cairo, Egypt.  President Obama has described this special event as an “occasion to deliver a broader message about how the United States can change for the better its relations with the Muslim world.” I’d love to hear from the readers of my blog before and after this speech.  How can the United States improve its relationship with the Arab and Muslim world?  What would you like to hear President Obama say in Cairo?
